This post includes a useful EQ frequency chart and should help offer a rough guide to frequency ranges and EQ – making it easier to decide what frequencies to focus on in your mix when you are using EQ.
EQ Frequency Chart – A Guide To Frequency Ranges and EQ.

Hey music producers,
below is a really handy equalization table that will help you find what frequencies to boost and cut on different instruments and sounds. It will also help to train your ears. As always, use this as a guide and also be creative with your EQ!!

I keep both of them around as reminders!
This is a great reference for EQ and the various regions of frequencies. Some other go to resources that I use are a really informative post on the IDM Forum: http://www.idmforums.com/showthread.php?t=18237&page=2
and on the 2infamouz – Your Guide to a Home Recording Studio website: http://2infamouz.com/what-is-a-sound-equalizer/
There used to be a really good pdf floating around the web with frequency ranges and how they affected specific instruments sounds. I wish I could pull that back up, not sure where it went.
