Import EXS into Ableton Live – How To Import EXS24 files in Ableton Live.

Hi Guys,

Following from the previous blog on EXS24 patches, we also get asked a fair bit how to import EXS  into Ableton. It is much simpler than many think.

Simply navigate in Ableton to one of our packs that has sampler patches. Double click on a patch, it will then ask you to locate a sample, which will be in the same pack, once found it will automatically create a new sampler instrument with the correct mapping of keys. The new Ableton sampler patch will  be available under imports on the sampler in the navigation window.
