Do I have to decide if I’m taking the HR (High Rankin) or GL (Glimpse) Stems/Samples? Or can I combine the Stems of High Rankin and Glimpse in my Composition?

  5. Don says:

Are we to ONLY use what is in the remix packs?
Meaning, would I be able to use outside sounds, other than what is collected here?
Adding effects and whatnot is okay, right?
    Thanks.

hello, my question is: can we use sounds that do not come themselves included in the package provided to create more variety?
    whether fx etc claps.

    Thank you.

  9. MiLeYMiLe says:

Do we have to use all of the loops provided and is there a limit to them we have to use…..??? What type of genre do the mix or beat have to be……??? Can we use vst and plugins…….???

  10. Chris says:

Hi i want to know what is uncleared samples… And can i use samples that i bought from your website ??? Thanks in advance.

    • loopmasters says:

Uncleared samples are illegal samples of other people’s music. If you purchased anything from our site it is royalty free and not an illegal sample. I hope this clears things up.

  12. David says:

Thanks very much for this opportunity. I’ve read the rules but this question is not answered: What’s the maximum length of a mix you’ll accept for this competition?

    • loopmasters says:

Hi…good question. We are not limiting this but keep in mind that to win it should stand up well against tracks in it’s genre…as a rule tracks these days generally fall between 5:30 and 7:30 max.

  13. Ivan Chebotarev says:

Do you want us to upload the the whole song or just the meaty parts? Because by the looks of it, I have an eight minutes song which I will be glad to share every single last bit with you guys but I’m not sure if you guys have the time to listen.

    • loopmasters says:

Hi…we want whole songs – 8 min is a bit long, you probably could work with the arrangement to shorten that a bit…but submit your whole song, that’s how they will be judged.

  14. Ken Waters says:

I have made mine with my own created music/basslines/melodies etc around the majority of the samples, some edited, some not.

For example – built a melody around some of the bass samples, and added my own bassline samples around the bass samples-

Does my track still qualify like this ? or do i have to make a whole song from just these sounds ?

  15. MyklH says:

can I put my mix on my soundcloud page?
    thanks

  16. Bill Desman says:

I just uploaded my track. Is it ok to disable downloads or should I keep it on?

  17. MyklH says:

Can we share our track in other soundcloud groups?

  18. Álex Gob says:

Hello, I am writing to tell you that went up my theme to your dropbox of souncloud 4 days ago and has not been published. I saw that you have posted new songs.

Here I leave the name of the song: Producers LMDJ Mag Comp. (Álex Gob Remix).

I hope you answer me please.

A greeting and pardon my English. I’m using the google translator and it is not good.

    Att: Álex Gob.

  19. Belkin says:

    Hey,
    i have short question
“All trademarks and logos are protected. Unauthorized copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of the provided parts is prohibited.”

so if i finish track can i play it or not?
also can i send it to other labels?

    • loopmasters says:

Hi, apologies for the late reply. I understand this does come across as confusing. What it means is, you can’t use the logo, artwork without permission. And you can not redistribute the samples.. so sell them elsewhere for example. You can play your track wherever you like and send it to labels because the samples are royalty free. But you can not sell the samples, we just have to cover ourselves. Thanks for your question though, it got me thinking!

      • Belkin says:

Thanks for you reply :) because judges are dubstep and house music makers, so i am not sure that they will like my hardcore track :) with some dubstep breaks

  20. RockDancer says:

    Hi,
can i submit more than one track? I’m not sure yet but i think i would like to mix one track out of the Glimpse Sounds and another one out of the High Rankin Sounds.

Thanks for your always great sounds and this competition-opportunity. (and excuse my maybe not perfect english)

  21. giordash says:

    Hey there,

I uploaded my remix to the competition group dropbox some time ago, still waiting on it to be approved. How long does this process usually take?

    Thanks!

  22. RockDancer says:

    Hi,
I’m new to Soundcloud and just added my two songs to the competition. Now I’m not sure if I did it right. Both songs claim to be in the group but I don’t see them there. Furhtermore one of the songs has the tag “private”. Is that just because the songs haven’t been approved yet? They both contain RockDancer in the title.

Just want to make sure my contributions are there for you to hear.

Thanks for checking and – naturely – I hope you like my songs. ;-)
    (sorry for perhaps bad spellings)

  23. RockDancer says:

    Sorry for posting again.

After submitting my own tracks I listened to the better part of the other contributions and now I wonder if I got the terms right. I thought the goal was to mix the delivered parts to an individual song, maybe adding some effects or other small parts, but not taking just a few samples and insert them in a total different thing. Some of the entries have almost nothing to do with the original samples. Not that they are not good. Some contributions are awesome! But I hope I still stand a chance in this competition staying as true as possible to the original sounds, showing my own note just in the way I selected, mixed and edited them. ???

    • RockDancer says:

I found my own solution. I just added a third song with a little more other stuff. If three songs are too much please just ignore my first High Rankin Mix: It Has Begun (Soundtrack of a war in a naive world)
      Thanks!

  24. mindmix inc says:

Same scenario as a few posts, uploaded to soundcloud dropbox earlier today, confirmed email, refreshed browser and do not see the remixes on the list of submissions. The tally is still 52. The two submissions are called “The Wrath of God” and “mindmix inc vs LMD…” -thanks

    Cheers

  28. Belkin says:

Hey can you tell me who is under 11 ?:) because in player on page is one name but on soundcloud other one.
